“July 29th 2021 was National Intern Day and we were so excited to have been able to celebrate all the great work our interns have been doing in the community!”, explains PA CareerLink Youth Program Manager Liz Swirniuk. With over 40 interns actively participating in our Paid Work Experience programming at CareerLink, we were thrilled to be able to highlight some of the work that has been done. Worksite supervisors such as Keller Williams, Lancaster EMS, and La Voz shared some of the impact interns have had on the overall success of their businesses. Interns communicated how internships have provided them with impactful hands on learning opportunities and gave them the opportunity to discover what a career in their desired industry would tangibly look like thanks to these internships.
