Plan local
As required by the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA), the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board released a draft of the PY2025-2028 WIOA Multi-Year Local Area Plan that outlines the vision for Lancaster County’s workforce initiatives.
Public Comments on the PY2025-2028 Local Area Plan are due on or before July 22, 2025. Comments may be sent to info@lancastercountywib.com. A public meeting to discuss the plan will be held on July 8th, 2025 from 12pm-1pm at the Workforce Board.
Plan Regional
In addition, the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act requires local workforce development boards and chief elected officials to engage in an integrated, regional, as well as local workforce planning process to prepare, submit, and obtain approval of a single collaborative regional plan that incorporates local plans for each of the local areas within the given workforce planning region. Public comments on the South Central Workforce Development Planning Region- WIOA Regional Plan 2025-2028 are due on or before July 22, 2025. Comments may be sent to info@scpaworks.org
