18th Annual Workforce Summit

December 12, the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board held its 18th Annual Workforce Summit at the Eden Resort Inn. Cathy Rychalsky, Executive Director of the Lancaster County Workforce Development Board, presented the State of the Workforce

Robert I. Rhoads, Jr., chair of the Workforce Development Board, said, "Neither the workforce board staff nor the PA CareerLink® Lancaster County  staff on their own is able to build a strong yet flexible workforce. We rely on partnerships and collaborations with community-based organizations, educational institutions and employers. One purpose of this morning’s meeting is to recognize those individuals or organizations for the contributions they have made to improving opportunities in the workforce arena this year. Let us begin our presentation of the Friends of Workforce Awards."  Read more here.
